Major Milestone for Hotel Izvor

Hotel Izvor in Arandjelovac marked an important milestone – 15 years of successful operation. On this occasion, a celebratory event was held on 30  November in the Crystal Hall of the hotel, attended by numerous friends, business partners, and employees. The official program was hosted by the actress Jelena Gavrilovic, while Cheggi and the Braca Bluz Band were responsible for the entertainment and lively atmosphere of the evening.

Guests had the opportunity to watch a short film about Hotel Izvor, and learn more about its history, the reconstruction period, and the modern Izvor, followed by speeches from the former hotel director Dragan Todorovic and the current director Dejan Lucic.

In honor of 15 years of operation, a draw for 15 valuable prizes was organized for the gathered partners and friends, while employees were presented with special awards for 15 years of loyalty and dedication. Milena Aleksic, General Manager of the A Hotels chain, had the pleasure of presenting these awards to a large number of employees, which clearly demonstrates the mutual respect and fair relationship the company maintains with the Hotel Izvor team.

The President of the Alco Group, Miroljub Aleksic, also addressed the attendees and announced further investments in the A Hotels portfolio. “It is a great honor that we have been creating a hotel that is a symbol of quality, dedication, and vision for 15 years. We thank all employees, partners, and guests who have contributed to its development. We will continue to invest, work, and set new hospitality standards in Serbia,” stated Aleksic. 

Since its opening in 2010, Hotel Izvor has proudly held a five-star rating and operates as part of the Alco Group and the A Hotels chain, which also includes the Tornik Hotel in Zlatibor, Sloboda in Sabac, and Park and Slatina in Vrnjacka Banja. Over the last 15 years, it has become a famous destination for relaxation, enjoyment, and top-quality service, with numerous guests returning regularly, considering it their “second home.”

One of the Most Prestigious Hotels in Serbia

The former Izvor Hotel was officially opened on 3 October 1978, in the presence of then-President Josip Broz Tito, and soon became one of the most prestigious hotels in Serbia.

After its privatization in 2003, under the majority ownership of Miroljub Aleksic, a comprehensive reconstruction of the hotel began. The total area was doubled to 34,000 square meters, facilities were significantly expanded, and a new SPA & Wellness center and congress center were built. The construction of a water park, one of the largest in Serbia, was completed the following year, increasing the total area of the Izvor hotel complex to 8.5 hectares.

From the very beginning, the renovated Izvor, thanks to its quality service and enhanced facilities, established a strong position in both the domestic and international tourism markets. Izvor became a favorite destination for family vacations and wellness relaxation, as well as for business events and glamorous celebrations.

Over 15 years of operation, the hotel achieved one and a half million overnight stays, and numerous high-ranking awards and recognitions were presented for its successful operation and outstanding results in Serbia and Southeast Europe.

The hotel’s modernization is continuously carried out through regular improvements and renovations, with further investments in the development and expansion of facilities planned for the future.
